Tour Introduction
Jiri Gokyo valley Everest base camp trekking is one of the longest and challenging trekking trail in Everest region. Gokyo valley Cho la pass Everest base camp trekking offers eye catching Himalayan views of whole solu khumbu Himalayan region including the Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt. Lhotse 5816m, Mt. Maklau 8463m, Mt. Cho Oyu 8201m , Nuptse 7855m, Mt. Pumori 7145m, Mt. Ama Dablam 6856m, Mt. Thamserku 6723m and other more mountains peaks of Everest region.
Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu drive to Jiri (1905m/5768ft) – 6 hours.
Day 2: Jiri to Deurali 6-7 hours
Day 3: Deurali to Sete(2573m/ 7791ft) – 6 hours
Day 4: Sete to Junbensi(2675m/ 8099ft) – 6 hours
Day 5: Junbensi to Taksindo(2971m/ 8996) – 5 hours
Day 6: Taksindo to Khari khola (2050m/ 6207ft) – 5:30 hours
Day 7: Khari Khola to Payu(2939m/ 8899ft) – 6 hours
Day 8: Payu to Phakding (2610mtrs/8563ft) 5 hours.
Day 9: Phakding - Namche Bazaar(3440m/11286ft).
Day 10: Namche Bazaar(3440m/11286ft).
Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche(3860m/12664ft)
Day 12: Tengboche to Dingboche(4410m/14468ft)
Day 13: Dingboche(4410m/14468ft)
Day 14: Dingboche to Lobuje(4910m/16108ft).
Day 15: Lobuje to Gorak Shep (5153m/16906ft). 4 hours
Day 16: Everest Base Camp(5363m/17595ft) and back to Gorak Shep.
Day 17: Hiking up Kalapathar(5545m/18192ft) and overnight at Zongla (4710m/15453ft).
Day 18: Zongla to Thagna(4500m/14764ft) via the Chola-la cross(5420m/17782ft).
Day 19: Trek to Gokyo(4790m/15715ft).
Day 20: Gokyo to Gokyo Ri(5410m/17749ft). trek to Machermo
Day 21: Descend to Namche Bazaar via Dole(4210m/13812ft).
Day 22: Mchhermo to Namche
Day 23: Namche to Lukla(2840m/9318ft).
Day 24: Lukla to Kathmandu.
